In "Oman Gallery" you will be impressed by a unique jewelry collection, which was born during the years of our stay in Eastern Asia, and particularly in India.
We discovered our deep love for stones right at the beginning of our journey to the Far East. We were captured by the Turquoise, coral and amber colors, touch and the strength that emanated from people wearing them.
During the trip we met Goyri Shankar, a member of a family of jewelers, which had been appointed as jewelers for the Nepalese royal family for the last 300 years. Jewelry runs in the family's blood, and passes from father to son naturally and obviously.
The wonderful connection with this Nepali family led to a fruitful cooperation, of creating and gaining knowledge. Out of love and respect for this handiwork I choose to create in a method which preserves the Nepali traditional techniques.
The jewelry is made of gold and silver, inlaid with spectacular gemstones, which seem to have come from a royal treasure-chest.
The gallery is built in a Jerusalem style. Both outside and inside it includes old and authentic motifs, of which many are also for sale.
In addition, the gallery boasts a show of the Jerusalemite sculptress Tamar Eytan, a well-known artist in her field, born in 1919, and still active and creative.
The atmosphere in the gallery is both inviting and intriguing.
